Water surfing or surfing is a sport that developed and began around the 1960s in the United States, Hawaii, to be precise. Because this area is known for having very high beach waves, it is very suitable for this water surfing sport. The spread of this water surfing sport began around 1964, and is felt all over the world without exception in Asia.
Due to the rapid spread and growth of this sport, sports fans or athletes or better known as surfers, created an international association in California called the ISA (International Surfing Association), which currently has more than 100 members, from 70 countries. With the rapid development of water surfing (surfing), there are also many surfing associations and enthusiasts in every country with beaches and waves that they can use for surfing.
